My Thoughts

I have loved all of Veronica Henry’s beach hut series and this collection of short stories was no exception. Interspersed between the stories are  recipes of the delicious and tempting food  featured, which is a great addition.

I also loved the anecdotes and favourite lists which the author has added between the stories. These insightful chapters help you really get to know Veronica Henry and her love of the sea, good food and, of course, writing.

This book would make a great introduction to the charming and nostalgic beach huts of Everdene.  Pop it in your beach bag or just relax at home and get swept away to experience the simple but uplifting pleasures of summer by the sea.

Thank you Orion via NetGalley for a copy of the book, which I have reviewed honestly.
