Is it true that all bookworms are introverts?
I am, but I know plenty of people who love reading who just want to talk about books all day long. I suppose its a solitary hobby and very time consuming, so it gives the impression that readers prefer to be alone.
According to Albert Einstein
“A quiet life stimulates the creative mind.”
and Stephen Hawking said
“Quiet people have the loudest minds”
Are introverts boring?
I don’t think so, I just think introverts are selective about the company they keep and choose their words wisely. They are usually good listeners which is a very positive character trait.
Oscar Wilde believed
“A bore is someone who deprives you of solitude without providing you with company”
We are labelled as antisocial, strange and even rude because we like to spend time reading books, but a person who chatters non stop is called bubbly, vivacious. open and friendly.
The English Dictionary states that an introvert is A shy reticent person.
This makes me think cold and withdrawn, but this is not the case. Introverts can become animated when a conversation is stimulating and they are happy in the company they keep.
Afterall, we all need to be different, everyone has something to offer and we should never feel embarrassed or pretend to be something that we are not.
“To thine own self be true”
