Biography
My Review
I really enjoyed the two novellas based in Northern Ireland and centred around Jimmy, a family man who runs his own music shop.
It doesn’t take long to realise that Jimmy has a dark side, he is unpredictable, fearless and not afraid to speak his mind.
I liked that the story is narrated by Jimmy and you get to read about the complexities of his double life. He may be a tough guy but he loves his wife and baby, is intelligent (he has a literature degree) and has a dry, sarcastic sense of humour.
To say that the stories are action-packed is an understatement. The language and violence may not be to everyone’s taste but if you like a fast-paced, gritty, crime drama, you’ll love both Bongo Fury novellas.
I was sent a copy of the books by the author in exchange for an honest review.
